The National Fire Academy, one of our partners, has asked the IAAI for assistance in getting the word out about vacancies in upcoming classes at the NFA. Please see the release below.

 

VACANCIES IN UPCOMING NATIONAL FIRE ACADEMY CLASSES 

We have some vacancies in upcoming classes being offered at the National Fire Academy and are looking for your assistance in getting the filled. Classes with vacancies include Fire Service Financial Management, Special Operations Program Management, Demonstrating Your Community Risk Reduction Program's Worth, Advanced Science of Hazardous Materials Response, Advanced Life Support Response to Hazardous Materials, Management and Safety in Response to Hazardous Materials/WMD Incidents, Hazardous Materials Code Enforcement, New Executive Chief Officer, Command and Control of Fire Department Operations at Natural and Man-Made Disasters, and others.  Please take a look at  https://apps.usfa.fema.gov/nfacourses/vacancies 

All National Fire Academy classes are offered FREE of charge to career and volunteer fire and EMS providers from across the nation. The NFA will reimburse for travel, provide dormitory lodging, and provide world-class training. The only cost for those selected to attend is their time and the cost of meals.
